Here is how to 10x your productivity and gain leverage to grow your business.
As a startup founder in the beginning you’re working around the clock and usually wearing a ton of different hats. You’re doing the marketing, you’re doin the sales, operations, recruiting, and customer support.
But once you start getting a few clients you’re going to literally go crazy overworking yourself. But maybe you don’t want to hire a full time person because it’s expensive. If you’re bootstrapped and you’re looking to not spend a lot money here is a how you can clone yourself and leverage freelancers to scale your business.
Step 1: Go to Upwork.com
Step 2: Post a job for a virtual assistant with the description of what you want them to do.
Ideally this person should be in the Philippines or a low cost country so you can save money and even hire multiple freelancers if you need.
Step 3: Create an SOP which is click by click instruction in google doc and make a loom video that is a screen recording walking them through the steps.
Step 4:Jump on a call with the freelancers who applied to the job and choose one to test
Step 5: Let them go to work and have a weekly call with them checkin in and giving them feedback
There you go. Think about all of the possibilities you can use for this. Any role now you can hire someone part time to to the work. This allows you to scale up while being more profitable compared to hiring full time expensive US employees.
