Then, in a moment of reflection in my office, I had a revelation. Instead of starting from scratch, what if I could tap into those who've already done what I was trying to do and they had done it in my industry. Those from my industry who had valuable insights, connections, and experience. What if I could turn decades of their experience into days of accelerated learning for my business?

I realized my competitors and people who used to work at my competitors had what I needed to take my business to the next level.

I also realized that I could inspire them to jump ship by capitalizing on how most employees feel plateaued, they are craving more challenges and growth. So I went on LinkedIn and created a new opportunity for them that was bigger than anything they had experienced. I strategically created job titles that were a level higher. For example when I approached a VP. of IT it was for a CIO role.
